Description |
A portion of the reseeded section of the Sage Creek area which lies 10 miles north of Randolph, Utah. This area, a natural big sage western wheatgrass range, was denuded by fire in August, 1939. An 80 acre plot was fenced and a portion was drilled to crested wheat in October of that year. In June of 1941 a 100% stand was estimated and plants ranged from 12 to 14 inches in height. Gift of Arthur L. Crawford. |
