Doyle Landon is pictured in the 1948 yearbook at Uintah High School where he taught Agriculture Ed. He was born to Charles and Maria Landon in 1912. He served in World War II and married Glenda Cole in 1940. He came to Vernal in 1941 and began working for the Farm Security Administration. A couple years later he began teaching at Uintah High School where he taught for 36 years. While there he was named Outstanding Agricultural Teacher of the Year for Utah. He also served in the community in various ways. He died September 16, 1990. |
