Description |
Planks have been cut into fireplace length of wood at the Caldwell Lumber Yard. Ernest Caldwell owned this sawmill located at 600 West and 500 North behind his home. He operated his first mill at Big Park. With a lack of water the mill had to be moved about a half-mile to the northwest at the top of Big Park and the bottom of Summit Park near a large spring near a large spring. The Forest Service finally removed all the mills from the forest. |
