Description |
Looking up the hill from the Dinosaur Monument camp. Notice the clothes on the line. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. Their job was to remove the overburden from the quarry area to make access for the future Dinosaur Quarry. |
