Doctor Homer Rich arrived in Vernal in 1911. He married Ethel Watkins in June 1912. He was the secretary and treasurer of the first Uintah Medical Society. He opened a resort north of Maeser called Doc's Beach. Doctor Rich practiced medicine for 25 years before he died in August 1936. |
