At right, Dr. Vasco Tanner, teacher of Zoology at the same institution. The base is whitewashed rocks; a lava slab set into the base by cement; plaque fixed on it. No fencing around it. Still neglected. Looking east; Oak City hills in background. 1930. Photograph taken by Professor Cottam (probably BYU professor Clarence Cottam)
