Ice Jam Under the Jensen Bridge |
Identifier |
9711 |
Subject |
Jensen Bridge--Ice Jam |
Description |
The Jensen Bridge was in no danger even though the ice jam in the Green River had almost reached to the top of that steel structure. The river at that point was clearing out and reports said at least one half the surface was thawed. The jam was solid for three or four miles, but the water ran under the ice so there was no flooding. |
