Salt Lake Collegiate Institute Students and Teachers

A group of students and teachers at the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute, Salt Lake CIty, Utah. Everyone in the photograph is standing in the doorway of the SLCI. The photograph was taken in winter as snow is on the stairs and on the bushes outside the building. The upper part of the glass doors can be seen in the photograph. The intricate brickwork on the building can also be seen as well as the year 1894 engraved into the stone in a column at the right side of the stairs. All the men are dressed in dark suites. The women are dressed in a variety of dresses or skirts and blouses. Some of the men are wearing caps or hats. The young man in the front of the photograph appears to be a paperboy. He has a bag at each side filled with newspapers.
