Description By early 1900, the Central School was in an over-crowded condition. September 1942-the halls of the new Central School were filled to capacity so all could hear the dedication program of the magnificent new structure. The school was designed by Alonzo Young of Young and Anderson of Salt Lake City, Utah. A tour of the building was enjoyed by the large crowd. Brick from the original building were used in the walls of the new structure. All the desks were sanded and painted. The building was cleaned by crews of women and men in preparation for the dedication. Refreshment was served from the cafeteria. By the middle 1990's the Central School was made into an Alternative High School.
