Description |
A 49-year-old white female presented with a progressive right optic neuropathy. Her past medical history was significant for an ossifying fibroma of the right maxillary and ethmoid sinuses with incomplete resection in 1981 and 1982. Standard neuroimaging including both computerized axial tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) failed to reveal any compression of the optic nerve; specifically, no narrowing of the optic canal was identifiable. |
