| Description |
Denver and Rio Grande Western RR mail and baggage car #1202 at Salt Lake City Union Depot in June of 1962. Car was used to sort mail in railway post office service on the train (the #7 / #8 train, known as The Prospector), traveling between Denver and Salt Lake City. Car was built by Pullman-Standard Car Manufacturing Company in 1950 at Pullman, Illinois (near Chicago). Photographer / Donor: Mike B. Davis. |
