Above is piece "Death's Door". This piece mimics an illuminated manuscript. It is symmetrical in design but divided by its subject matter. In the center are two skeleton characters with sickles, flanked on the left by a skeleton posed as angel, and on the right by a skeleton dressed as a demon. Below is "A Thousand Lifetimes". It consists of a repeating pattern of a pile of skulls and bones. These pieces, made by Hunter Parkison, were displayed in the 2024 Juried Student Show exhibition. |
