Entitled, "Safeguarding our economy," it addressed the adaptation of the economy to the realities of war time. Includes a list of recipients of copies of the speech, and correspondence associated with Chairman Eccles's participation. This includes two copies of a letter dated 25 May 1942 from the Office of Emergency Management clearing the speech for publication after review by the "Office of Facts and Figures," and two copies of the draft copy of the speech that was reviewed.
