A comparison: The communist press systems of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia

That the phenomenally liberal communist press system of Yugoslavia may be better known and appreciated by students of foreign communications systems, this paper will make historical, practical and philosophical comparisons of the press in both the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia, analyzing and explaining the differences, and projecting what the likely future will be for the press systems in both countries regarding political trends and the development of the relationships of these nations with other nations and with one another.
