Description | Letters from Allen H. Lundgren in Normandy, France, to wife Ruth in Salt Lake City during July of 1944, while serving in the U.S. Army's Counter Intelligence Corps during World War II. He describes the sort of things found left behind by retreating German soldiers. One letter is written in Swedish.
