Letters from Allen H. Lundgren to wife Ruth during 1943, as he was stationed in various places while working for the Bureau of Censorship during World War II. In February he was in Great Britain, in Little Rock, Arkansas, in April; in Hagerstown, Maryland, in November and Baltimore in December. One letter is addressed to "Angelina," which may have been her middle name. Two letters undated; one from December before Christmas, the other from the summer as Allen was in Saint Louis, Missouri. |
