Description |
Mrs Grambs Boarding House. Seated at left is W. C. Carbis. The men in the center are Mr. Crockwell and Ottingers, photographers at the time. On the right is Mr Case, town druggist. Settled in 1866, silver was soon discovered in a sandstone ledge. By the 1880s the reef was mined out and the town abandoned. |
