Additional Information |
Image was scanned from color slide. Note: Fujiya Hotel, established in 1878, is the most famous ryokan (inn) at the Miyanoshita hot spring resort, 1.5 km west of Ohiradai, in the Hakone region of Kanagawa Prefecture.--Information from image with file name: fujiya_hotel_kikaso_007 Note: Chōzubachi is a vessel originally designed to keep water for rinsing one's mouth and cleansing one's body before worshiping gods or Buddhas. It subsequently evolved into what is called tsukubai and became a fixture of the Japanese tea ceremony found within the yard surrounding the tea house.--Wikipedia. |
