Description |
Denver and Rio Grande Western RR locomotive #1606 built by Baldwin Locomotive Works at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1926. The 4-8-2 engine was classed as an M-75 by the Rio Grande, one of the ten locomotives of this class. It had three cylinders (one in the middle between the wheels) to generate 74,970 lbs. of tractive effort. It was built for freight service and used around the system. It was scrapped in July of 1949.
