Cross-Country skiers competing during the Nordic Combined Cross-Country Ski event at 2002 Winter Olympics at the Soldier Hollow venue. The Salt Lake Olympic Committee (SLOC) donated tickets for educational purposes to schools through the area. SLOC wanted everyone to have the opportunity to attend Olympic/Paralympic events. Donating tickets to schools offered the opportunity to many children who otherwise would not have been able to attend Olympic events. Chris and Katie Mansfield attend Twin Peaks Elementary School were awarded tickets to some Olympic/Paralympic events. Katie attended the Olympic Nordic Combined at Soldier Hollow, 22 February 2002. |
