This photograph is good condition. The only noticeable flaw is the shoddy trim job along the bottom border. The cut runs off into the photograph at left. On the back is stamped the number "4522" in black ink. Originally called the Student Center, the Shaw Center was named after Manford A. Shaw, Westminster's ninth president who served from 1968-1976. The structure was completed in 1969 and was consequentially named after Shaw upon his retirement in 1976. Major renovation took place in the summer of 2001. It presently serves as both the student lounge and the cafeteria and is home to the bookstore, student life office, career center, ASWC office, counseling center, volunteer center, and computer classrooms.
