Description Oral History Interview by Ken Verdoia with Mine Okubo. A graduate of the University of California with a master's degree in art. Ms. Okubo documented camp life in Tanforan and Topaz through numerous sketches and paintings that were published in her post-war book, Citizen 13660. Allowed to leave Topaz to accept employment as a magazine illustrator in New York, Ms. Obuko gained a national reputation as an artist in the post-war period.
