Abstract Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a viral condition caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Studies suggest that SARS- CoV-2, such as most coronaviruses, is capable of invading the central nervous system to exacerbate or cause neurological disease.
