Abstract Burton (b. 1926) was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and enlisted in the Navy in May 1944. He received his training in San Diego and was assigned to the minesweeper, USS Dour in April 1945. He served as a radioman and his Pacific service included Korea, Japan, the Marianas, and Okinawa. Discharged in 1946, his civilian life included a careers as an attorney and publisher. Interviewed by Becky Lloyd. 57 pages.
