A 53 year old black female was diagnosed with locally advanced rectal cancer in June, 1992. She was admitted to the hospital in September, 1992 to undergo chemotherapy. The patient was noting diplopia at the time of admission, and examination revealed a left sixth nerve palsy. Neuro-ophthalmic evaluation was also notable for some blot hemorrhages, possibly related to anemia |
