Description Studio portrait (standing and sitting) of Mah-tov-is, Dick Washakie, Lo-po-gun (Many bows and arrows), Washakie (Rattle fox), Pau-zook (Otter), Gigee, and Peh-goos-sa (Fur pants), Native American (Shoshone) men. They hold tomahawks, wooden pipes, and a rifle. They wear moccasins, blankets, leggings, beaded necklaces, and wide-brimmed hats. Washakie wears a feather headdress and a scarf held in place by an abalone shell decoration.
