The men in the photograph are wearing long dark jackets, pants, and hats. The women are wearing dresses, long dark jackets, and hats. The children are wearing long coats, and the girls have bows in their hair, while the boys are wearing hats. On the left side of the photograph there is a sled being pulled by two donkeys, with a young man riding one. The group is standing in front of a large wooden building, with a sign stating, "Henningsen Produce, Daily Cream Station." There are several large windows on the front of the building, and leaning against the side of the building is a wooden ladder. The ground is covered with snow. |

The photograph is in good condition, except for worn corners. On the back there are markings indicating the use for mailing as a postcard, "POST CARD, CRRRESPONDENCE, NAME AND ADDRESS HERE, PLACE STAMP HERE. There is a line down the middle of the card. The following is written on the back in black ink, "Old Thornton". The following information is handwritten on the back in pencil, "In the Mormon Area having a Sunday-school organized in an old store building in one of the isolated settlements in southeastern Idaho." |
