Grace's Dress Shop Fire in Roosevelt

A fire was discovered at 4:30 a.m. in a building used for tire storage. The fire roared through a downtown business block early Thursday and completely burned out seven businesses. Among them was Grace's Dress Shop and Shirley's Small Frye (a children's clothing store), the building where this fire can be seen. Adjacent to the department store was a building occupied by Bradshaw Auto Parts, estimated to have lost $50,000 in inventory and $20,000 value of the building. This block was in downtown Roosevelt, Utah.
