Description |
At present, six inborn errors of cobalamin metabolism have been identified. Of these (labeled A through F), only types C and D have diminished synthesis of adenosyl and methyl cobalamin, derived from vitamin B12, resulting in methylmalonic aciduria and homocystinuria. |
