Description The standard treatment of bilateral amblyopia secondary to uncorrected high bilateral hypermetropia has been spectacles and time. Unfortunately the visual outcome can sometimes be subnormal visual acuity in both eyes. This report describes a patient who was failing standard treatment and then responded dramatically to levodopa.
