Description | Address: 336 South 400 East, Salt Lake City. An English-speaking Lutheran congregation organized in 1890 and broke ground on a building two years later, to be dedicated in 1894. Due to their small size, the congregation merged with the Zion Lutheran church in 1913, and sold the building to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (RLDS, or the "Josephites," as the regular LDS folks called them). That group stayed until 1965, when they built a new church in the county Since then, different restaurants have occupied the building, but in 2018 it is unoccupied. |
