Dev Jennings served as a rifle squad leader and ski and rock climbing instructor for the 10th Mountain Division in the European Theater of World War II. He was a member of the 1947 University of Utah Ski Team, which brought that institution its first national collegiate ski championship. He competed in the 1948 Winter Olympics. Dev was executive director of Ski Utah from 1961-1970. He was inducted in the U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame in 1989 and the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame in 2006. --Alf Engen Ski Museum website |
