Description The quantitative assessment of visual impairment in MS clinical trials has been traditionally limited to Snellen acuity. Previous investigations suggest that contrast letter acuity and contrast sensitivity are the most sensitive clinical measures of visual dysfunction in MS, even among patients with Snellen acuities of 20/20 or better.
