Description |
Visual dysfunction in idiopathic Parkinson's disease (PD) is related to disease severity and is a likely contributor to gait freezing, impaired depth perception, falls, and visual hallucinations. The purpose of this ongoing study is to identify visual measures that are most sensitive yet clinically practical for use in PD trials, and to examine how these measures may reflect vision-specific health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and structural measures of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness. |
