Double Vision and Headache

Frohman, MD A healthy 32-year-old woman with migraine presented with a headache atypical of her migraines, with the onset of diplopia. After a negative CT scan, a diagnosis was established by neurology; neuro-ophthalmology was consulted and disagreed with the presumptive diagnosis. Further investigation revealed a surprising underlying cause to the patient’s new problems, which quickly responded to appropriate therapy.
