Sarah Feeny finished second in the 1,500 at the USATF Junior Championships on Saturday afternoon, qualifying her for the 2015 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships. Also earning a strong finish was Megan Glasmann, who finished 10th in the javelin at the senior level late Friday night with a school-record throw. The Utes had three student-athletes competing in the event. Freshman Shaylen Crook finished sixth in the 5,000 at the USATF Junior Championships on Friday afternoon. Also competing at championships was former Ute Amanda Mergaert, who finished 18th in the preliminary round of the 1,500 on Friday. |
