The Utes won three events overall, while 15 personal records were set by some of the distance runners in seven different events. Leading the way for the women were Brooke LoBue, Vanessa Mortensen, and Katie Decker, who all notched first-place finishes in their respected events. LoBue won the pole vault with a height of 3.97 meters. Mortensen won the weight throw and tied her career best with a distance of 17.86 meters and Katie Decker won the high jump with a height of 1.71 meters. Nellie Hammons, Andrea Davidson, Nicki Hugie, Ashlee Warnick and Elise Greenwood all set personal records in their respective events. On the men's side, Nephi Tyler led the team by placing third in the one mile with a time of (4:07.89). Tyler garnered an NCAA provisional qualifying time with the run. Taylor Price, Ivan Alvarado, Derek Sensenstein, Delfino Arevalo, Lion Gallegos, Jeff Davidson and Colby Frazier all set personal records in the their respective events. |
