Correspondence from 1958 between Marriner S. Eccles and various people and groups requesting his participation and attendance at various events. Due to his busy schedule and dividing his time between residences in Salt Lake City and San Francisco, Mr. Eccles declined many more invitations than he accepted. Among those to whom he sent regrets was President Eisenhower, who had invited him to a National Conference on the Foreign Aspects of U.S. National Security," held on 25 February 198 in Washington, D.C. Another declined invitation was from University of Utah President Albert Ray Olpin. |
