Tucker, describing a battle against the plague in China and the contrast between earlier times and 1918 regarding how the missionaries are appreciated; followed by accounts dated in January and February of the missionaries' work at various places; at the end is a note signed with initials "E. B. T" (Emma Boose Tucker, suggesting that she compiled and typed the foregoing reports received from Dr Tucker during his travels in Shansi Province and northern China |
