Description |
Farms and homes of Coalville with fence property boundaries. In 1858, coal deposits were discovered in the area of Chalk Creek, now Coalville. The operation was called the Curch Mines by the Mormon Church. Many of the miners were from Coalville, England, hence the name change. |
