Description |
A life-size manger scene with Mary, Joseph, infant Jesus, and the Three Wise Men illuminated beneath a large, thatched manger was part of the Christmas decorations which for the first time lighted up historic Temple Square in Salt Lake City this year. In Special ceremonies President David O. McKay of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints pressed the switch, turning on more than 40,000 brightly colored lights covering trees and shrubs in the square. |
