Antimony, originally known as Coyote, in 1915. |
Comment |
Antimony was settled in 1873. Original settlers earmarked coyote pups upon arrival and the town was orignally called Coyote. In 1880 antimony mining began in the area, making the area a ranching and mining community. In 1920 the name of the town was changed to Antimony. |
