Show A distant photograph of the west side of Converse Hall. In the background is a picturesque view of the east mountain range. The foreground is dominated by a field. A barn sits at the far distant left of that field. It sits against a thicket of trees and foliage which is kept at bay by a boundary fence outlining the field. A dirt road can be seen running along the far right side of the field. The road is lined with trees with a large cement pillar sitting at the side. There appears to be a small embankment from the field leading up to Converse Hall. |

There two copies of this photograph. The first photograph (000657) is in fair condition. It is soiled and has a severe crease in the middle. It also has multiple formatting pencil marks on the front. These marks don't impede the view of the photograph in anyway, but it is distracting. Along the bottom border is written in black ink, Across the Alfalfa 1926." The back has an array of text marks. They are as follows: "Main Building (in pencil), 3 (circled in pencil), 141/ 5 [?] (in pencil), Converse Alfalfa 1926 (in pen), 4 (circled) [?] 4 ½ x 5 ½ (in red pencil), Shiplers Commercial Photographers Salt Lake City (stamp)." The Shiplers stamp is in correlation to a group of photographs that the Utah Historical Society of Utah has collected of Westminster College.
