Description Film (color, sound, 16 minutes and 40 seconds) by Sullivan C. Richardson. About the centennial celebration after the Latter Day Saint pioneers trekked from Nauvoo, Illinois to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1847. For the celebration, hundreds of people followed the same path through Iowa, Nebraska, and Wyoming in 1947. When they arrive in Salt Lake City, the film shows the inauguration of the This Is The Place Monument near Emigration Canyon.
