Ed Yourdon's notes: "Forest Lawn cemetery in LA, with little Valerie Ann, Aleda Freeman, Ike and Mabel Yourdon -- in early war years, 1942ish. I saw Valerie Ann a couple of times in subsequent years (once in Roswell, NM that I remember) and always thought of her as my cousin. But since I had not yet been born when this photo was taken, she must have been at least a couple years older than me ... Her mother was the namesake for one of my sisters, who now lives up in Alaska... Meanwhile, I have no idea why all of them were at this cemetery, or whose gravesite they were visiting."
