Description The role of multifocal electroretinography (mfERG) in the detection of early hydroxychloroquine retinal toxicity has not been established. Because most clinicians do not have access to customized software to analyze the results, a 'gestalt' method is frequently used. We sought to establish a more systemic means of evaluating the mfERG for hydroxychloroquine toxicity.
