Esophageal Adenocarcinoma with metastasis to the left orbital apex |
Clinical |
Visual acuities of 20/25 in his right eye and no light perception in his left eye. Pupil exam revealed a 3mm pupil on the right that reacted briskly to light and accommodation without an afferent pupillary defect. The left pupil was 5mm and did not react to light or accommodation and had an afferent pupillary defect. Posterior extent of the left optic nerve showed evidence of infiltration by the lesion with coinciding edema. |
Presenting Symptom |
A 54 year-old white male presented to the emergency room with a one month history of progressive binocular diplopia and a one week history of painless loss of vision in his left eye. |
