Description History: 18-year-old man with painful 3 mm right proptosis for 24 hours. Anatomy: Orbit. Clinical: Right eye showing medial conjunctival injection and mass in the medial lower conjunctival area. Spontaneous relief of pain with subconjunctival hemorrhage decompressing the small lymphangioma. Eight year follow-up. Asymptomatic, but persistent swelling, the medial right lower conjunctival area. Disease Diagnosis: Lymphangioma. Presenting Symptom: Painful 3 mm right proptosis. Neuroimaging: B-Scan ultrasonogram with beam coming from left to right with irregular black areas suggesting a lymphangioma. CT scan showing small mass medial to right globe anteriorly. Persistent lymphangioma in right medial inferior conjunctival area. Treatment: Subconjunctival hemorrhage decompression of lymphangioma to relieve pain.
