In conjunction with the Institute of the American West, KBGL-TV (Pocatello), produced a video documentary called "Western Movies: Myth and Images". Photos are mostly movie stills. Most scenes are unidentified. "Heartland" is a film released in 1979 depicting a harsh homestead life in early twentieth century Wyoming. A black and white still of Conchata Ferrell playing the role of Elinore Randall Stewart in "Heartland" with the original captions "Heartland" and "A Wilderness Women/Filmhaus Production" and "Director: Richard Pearce Executive Producer: Annick Smith Produced By: Michael Hausman & Beth Ferris" and "Starring Rip Torn, Conchata Ferrell, Barry Primus, Lilia Skala, and Megan Folsom". |
