Description Hank Louis served on the board of Utah Humanities from 1996 to 2003, including as board chair. On the board he advocated for the introduction of more funding and the ability to grow programs, serving on grant reviews, UH staffing, and the importance of board retreats. He also talks about the partnership with the city of Bluff and the University of Utah Architecture school, the impetus for this came during a board retreat in Bluff, Utah, based on the Rural Studio model of people with land but no money.
